We are well prepared to provide support to those who are struggling in the current crisis.

The Community Cupboard is available to anyone in our villages who needs some extra support with food, household goods or toiletries, which our volunteers can deliver to your doorstep. We also have occasional donations of fresh vegetables, often in excess of what we need. If you don’t need the full food bank support, but fresh vegetables would help stretch the weekly budget, especially with children at home full time, please get in touch as we have plenty of food for those who need it.

We can also offer a regular phone call to anyone stuck at home, especially anyone feeling lonely.

In addition we are working on a joint initiative with the Parish Council on the Goudhurst Community Support Team, which provides help with deliveries, including for prescriptions. Contact Louise Vickerman at gkcovid19help@gmail.com for more information, to ask for help or to offer your support.
