We’ve all got questions, and some of them are about the really big stuff; ‘What’s life really for?’, ‘Is there a God?’, ‘How can I live a good life?’, ‘What happens after we die?’
But we rarely get to talk about these things. We’re busy getting on with life, we’re worried that people won’t think the same as us and, anyway, we might not even know what we think.
Alpha offers a totally open space to discuss the big questions of life with other local people.
You’ll enjoy a good quality home cooked meal, watch a thought provoking film about the basics of the Christian faith and then have an open conversation and discussion with the other guests. People come to Alpha from every walk of life and with every view and perspective. Everybody’s opinion is welcome and nobody will tell you what to believe, or judge anything you say.
Over the last 5 years more than 300 people of all ages in our local villages have tried Alpha and we’re running it again in January 2020. Starting on 7 January, it will take place between 7:30-9:30 on Tuesday evenings in Goudhurst & Kilndown Primary School. You can tell us you’d like to come and find out more details here or, if you’ve got any questions at all, please contact alpha@gkchurch.org or the Church Office on 01580 211739.
