Electoral Roll

Every Parish Church has an 'Electoral Roll'. This is a list of all the people who, by adding their name to the roll, are eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting (which will take place for St Mary's on 7 April and for Christ Church on 10 April)
More importantly, being on the electoral roll is a way to express that you are part of the church community.
Every 6 years the Electoral Roll is completely renewed and we start again with a blank roll. If you would like to add your name to the Roll at either St Mary's or Christ Church, please download the form below, complete it and return it to Becky Addis, The Vicarage, Back Lane, Goudhurst, TN17 1AN.
The fact that you have been on the Electoral Roll does not mean your name will be transferred to the new one - only people who complete the form will be on the new Electoral Roll.
To be on the Electoral Roll you need to:
1. Be 16 or over
2. Be a baptised (Christened) in a Christian church
3. Either live in the parish or, if not, have worshipped at St Mary's or Christ Church for at least 6 months.
Full details are on the forms. Please use the right form for the church where you want to join the Electoral Roll.
A paper form needs to be completed and signed and cannot be done online. You can be on the Electoral Roll of more than one Anglican church.
