Christ Church, Kilndown
Kilndown is a beautiful, active and supportive village community near to Bedgebury Forest
and Scotney Castle
in the Weald of Kent. Christ Church stands at the very heart of the village, and is, by the standards of English Village churches, modern. It was built in 1841 and is a unique church building, which offers the visitor both fascinating architecture and a strong sense of God's gentle presence.
Services are held every Sunday morning at 9:15
, with a friendly congregation that is always delighted to welcome visitors and anyone trying church out. Beyond Sunday the church is deeply involved in the life of the village community, through its many groups and societies and in friendships and informal support. If you enjoy singing, the church hosts the Community Choir
every Monday evening - an open and fun group of people who enjoy singing all sorts of music just for pleasure.
We hold Songs of Praise
services 3 or 4 times a year - with classic hymns, music, readings and prayers for the whole community. Click here

The church is open every day between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Visitors are always welcome - and if the door is shut, it is to keep the warmth in, not you out. Please come in and enjoy the building, to pray or to enjoy the stillness and peace of this holy place.
Morning Prayer is said in the church every Friday at 8:00am and Compline every Friday at 5:30pm.
