It's good to ask questions and it's good to explore the really big questions of life - who am I? What am I here for? Is there a God? What do I believe?
Alpha is an informal, relaxed and friendly way to explore those big questions. Each week has the same three ingredients: a meal, video input about an aspect of Christian belief and lots of time for discussion. Alpha works best when people have a whole mix of views and opinions, so we can all share our perspective and learn from each other. That means everyone is welcome, whatever you do or don't believe.

We've run Alpha in Goudhurst and Kilndown for the last 5 years, and over that time more than 220 adults and 25 teenagers have taken part.
We're running it again in 2019, starting on 8 January. It will take place in Goudhurst & Kilndown Primary School (TN17 1DZ) on Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30pm. It's all completely free, and we always suggest people try the first evening without any commitment to coming back, so you can see if it's for you.
What we guarantee is a warm welcome, a simple, home cooked meal, an entirely open and non-judgmental attitude and space to talk about the really big questions of life. And cake. Lots of cake.
