Raising faith

'These commandments are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.' So says Moses in Deuteronomy, as he encourages the people of Israel to share their faith with their children.

He doesn't tell them to send their kids off to church so they can learn about God there, he tells them that faith is a matter for the home.
This sermon series will help us understand why it matters that we share faith with our children and grandchildren, what the bible has to say about families and will share some really practical ideas about how we can all help raise the next generation of confident Christians.
And this series is for everyone - whether you have children or not, because we also know that it takes a whole church to raise a child, and whether we've got children at home or not, they are all our responsibility.
There will be four sermons in the series.
24 February - Raising faith; why it matters
3 March - Raising faith; families in the bible
10 March - Raising faith; top tips on how to do it
17 March - Raising faith; it takes a church to raise a child
As usual, each sermon will be available on the website to read and to listen to.
