9 days of prayer

Jesus prayed all the time - it was as natural as breathing for him to spend time with his Father. He prayed with others and on his own. He taught about prayer and he got on and prayed - praying was what he did.
And one of the things Jesus prayed was for his Father's kingdom to come - 'Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' It's a prayer for things on earth to be like they are in heaven, where there is no suffering, pain, injustice or war.
And we want to be part of that. We want to pray Thy kingdom come.
With that in mind, between 24 May and 5 June - an ancient period of 9 days of prayer in the church - we are opening up a prayer space for anyone to use. It will be open 24 hours a day during that time, with creative resources to help you pray for your friends and family, for this country, for the world and for yourself. You can book to be there at a particular time, or you can just turn up.
This wonderful video helps us understand what prayer is really about and what happens when God's kingdom comes to earth.
